In summary, it's nice that Buffalo can have its own Theater District, but it's not someplace that I would go out my way to visit.14 Tim Ho Wan Brooklyn Chop House Times Squareīelieve it or not, the Brooklyn Chop House isn’t actually from Brooklyn –the original is in the Financial District! But what does it matter? Brooklyn Chop House knows its way around a cut of meat. If you go more than 1-2 blocks off the main road, it gets into some territory that looked a bit more questionable, although I have no idea of the level of crime there it may be very low. We made two passes trying to find a spot in that way. There were no spots open on the road (although we got lucky and one car did pull out, making room for us), but even trying to find a parking lot with paid space appeared to be fruitless. I also felt as though finding a parking spot should have been much easier than it was. We did see a few restaurants, some of which were closed although the bars appeared to be open. While the Buffalo version does have a number of real "theaters" and other smaller venues, there just doesn't seem to be much between these businesses. Many "theater districts" in cities around the country are thriving, bustling centers of activity with tons of restaurants and entertainment-related activities. First of all, the place did not seem very lively. ![]() My views on this place were OK, but certainly not on par with many other theater districts I have visited, so I will try to keep this objective. I had never been to to this part of Buffalo before, but we had tickets to see an event in the Tralf, so we visited on a Sunday night. ![]() Would definately recommend this venue for shows They also have a small snack bar, candy, cookies, pop and water for purchase. They have little tables and a bar to chill at before the shows, as the doors open 1 hour prior to show time. I want to see Menopause and Irma Bombeck when they come back. I would for sure go back to this venue for another show. I enjoyed the show so much, I bought another set of tickets came home and got my husband and went back an hour later to see it again with a different perspective from his view. I really enjoyed the show the guy was a 1 man show and funny the three of us laughed so hard we were crying. No bad seats as there are only probably 500 seats and the seats are very comfortable and there is alot of leg room unlike Shea's where you feel jammed in as the space in between rows is quite tight. I went with 2 friends to see Men are from Mars Woman are from Venus at the 710 theater and I was pleasantly surprised, they redid the theater since the last time I was there and it's quite nice inside. ![]()
